Chelgrave Contracting - Maintenance specialists since 1979 - provide labour solutions to some of Australia’s most iconic businesses.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Training Coordinator to join the team at our Westernport office situated onsite at BlueScope Steel.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver technical training materials to apprentices, in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide hands-on instruction in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Monitor apprentices’ progress and provide feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals
- Administer assessments to evaluate apprentices’ knowledge and skills
- Maintain accurate training records for each apprentice, including attendance and progress reports
- Maintain a safe working environment in the training facility, and ensure apprentices are aware of and follow all safety procedures

**About you**:

- A minimum of five years of experience in the electrical trade
- Hold a valid “A” Grade Licence
- Experience in training and mentoring electrical apprentices
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
