**The Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our factory's day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Production and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing production activities, personnel, and resources to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. Your role will involve fostering a culture of teamwork, adhering to safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Foster a cohesive team culture by motivating, supporting, and managing Team Leaders and factory staff.
- Collaborate closely with Area Team Leaders to facilitate effective performance within their respective areas.
- Ensure compliance with quality processes and Safe Operating Procedures by providing adequate training and monitoring adherence.
- Address performance issues promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to meet production targets, including approving daily timesheets and coordinating overtime as required.
- Oversee daily production schedules, communicate priorities, and offer proactive solutions to address challenges.
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system, including updating orders, processing completed orders, and reconciling material quantities.
- Conduct quality checks prior to dispatch, investigate non-conformances, and report variances in output numbers.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure adequate stock levels, manage rejected stock, and participate in monthly stocktakes.
- Analyse production operations to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, cost, and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address equipment faults and coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Support Health & Safety initiatives, training, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures in conjunction with the HSEQ Manager.
- Monitor production schedules in Smartsheet to ensure accuracy and transparency for all users.

**About you**
- 5+ years of supervisory/production floor management experience with a background in mechanical, engineering and / electrical fields highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and inventory modules of an ERP system preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Sound understanding and practical experience in promoting safety behaviours.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly across departments.
