**Who we’re looking for**:

- The objective of the Product Owner role is to develop and maintain a product backlog for the Data Program, working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, and translate those into a prioritised pipeline of use cases. You will be the voice for the business within the program, ensuring a focus on and delivery of business outcomes. This role will also act as a Senior BA as required, eliciting and documenting business requirements, and coordinating and mentoring the Data Platforms BA practice.- The Data Platforms team sits within Virgin Australia's IT division, and has embarked on a multi-year program to deliver an Enterprise Data Platform to modernise and uplift the organisations data capability, within which this position will play a key role.**What you’ll be doing**:
- Develop and maintain the product backlog of business use cases for the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, uplifting stakeholder confidence, advocacy
and satisfaction.
- Perform technical requirements analysis, including data analysis, mapping, flows, etc.
- Provide advice and guidance into BA principles, standards, and methodologies.
- Maintain a pipeline of work to ensure continuous flow of requirements to the development team.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap of business use cases for stakeholder visibility and awareness.
- **You’ll be great in this role if you have**:
- Proven experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Databricks, AWS Cloud, Adobe suite, PowerBI are desirable
- Hands on experience in the successful delivery of complex data related IT projects as a Senior BA or Product Owner, eg migrations, new platforms, upgrades.- Extensive experience in business requirements analysis and documentation in a technical team.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices is preferable
- Understanding of Business analysis best practice standards, documentation, processes, Agile principles and practices, Data management and technology.
