**Req ID**: 69096 **Department**: Tech CDIS Cloud, Data and Analytics **Division**: Technology **Location**: Melbourne About Us About the Role As a Product Owner in our Enterprise Cloud Services Tech Area, you’ll play a key role in helping to keep GCP platform be stable, secure and current with enabling service required by workloads moving to cloud. This role enable and inspire the squad to pursue its mission by guiding them on "what" work to do. They prioritise work based on delivery of customer value and engage with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies with a Technology specialisation. The Product Owner also needs to own and manage the technical governance, compliance to enterprise controls and administration of the foundation platform. As a Product Owner, your role is to enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad. The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace. **What might a 'day in the life' look like for a Product Owner**: Be responsible for GCP product roadmap for the bank. Ensure foundational GCP platform is strategically aligned to the future requirements of the Bank Work with squads and collaborate with the internal customers for successful delivery of work Managing stakeholders and prioritization of work **Role Location**: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC **Role Type**: 12 months secondment/fixed term What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Google Cloud platform foundational knowledge Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines Experience in Agile methodologies Experience in Stakeholder Management and people management Desired Skills - Understanding of GCP architecture and service offering, Terraform, cloud networking services You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
