The role Reporting to the Senior Director, Governance, Risk and Compliance you will provide expert advice and technical leadership on reporting Government related projects and issues. The role will involve you implementing best practice innovative performance reporting solutions for the Health Capital Division. You will develop and maintain effective reporting processes and systems to provide advice to Ministerial requests, including questions on Notice, Government Election Commitments across Queensland Health's capital program, Premier and Minister Trip briefs and other government reporting requests. As Manager, you will lead staff while maintaining and developing effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting on the delivery of capital projects across Queensland Health. Finally, you will proactively identify business improvement opportunities and recommend strategies to realise benefits within an environment of fiscal restraint.
The successful personTo be successful for this role you will have demonstrated experience in a related Performance Reporting role with the ability to provide effective leadership and management. Although not mandatory a relevant qualification in business would be well regarded. Building and sustaining relationships will be a vital aspect of this role where you will possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to lead negotiations, resolve conflict, and positively influence and motivate the broader team. You will demonstrate sound governance by maintaining a high standard of practice through governance and risk management. As a strategic and critical thinker, you will have a proven track record identifying, influencing and implementing solutions to complex problems. Furthermore, experience fostering an inclusive workplace that builds high functioning teams will be a key component in this role.
