Cyber Security Operations Analyst - Be part of a team where everyone belongs, and individuality is celebrated. - Contribute to the financial wellbeing of our 2 million+ clients across Australia. - Permanent full time, hybrid working. - Anywhere in Australia **The difference you will make at Insignia Financial** Be part of a collaborative team with projects focussing on engineering or investigation work in the financial services industry to analyse, mitigate and respond to cyber threats, ensuring the security of digital systems, and optimizing cyber defence strategies. **Key Responsibilities**: - Conducting in-depth analysis of cyber threats and vulnerabilities to identify potential risks to the organization's digital infrastructure. - Developing and implementing proactive measures to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber incidents, including malware attacks, data breaches, and unauthorised access. - Infrastructure and Security controls Product Management or engineering, which includes on-boarding/tuning/continuous maintenance/administration/offboarding etc. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess security controls, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Monitoring and analysing network traffic, system logs, and security events to detect anomalous behaviour and potential security breaches. - Providing timely and accurate reports and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and enhance the organisation's cyber resilience posture. - Process development includes combining several methods that improve and optimize the existing cyber processes and/or bringing new process to integrate and is key to aligning team's operation. **To be Successful in this Role You will Possess**: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, along with extensive experience in cyber operations, incident response, or network security - Experience in triaging and responding to a range of security alerts and incidents. - Proficiency in network security principles, protocols, and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions. - Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools for log analysis and threat detection. - Understanding of cloud computing security concepts and best practices for securing cloud-based environments. - Combination of System Engineering/Security Engineering along with Security Analysis background will be a nice to have. - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills to be able to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams is a must, analytical skills. - Willingness to do on a weekly rotating roster call support. **Benefits** - In return, we offer development opportunities at an ASX top 200 company. - A professional, supportive, and friendly culture - A range of corporate and lifestyle benefits **The Business** Insignia Financial is one of Australia's leading wealth management organisations, undertaking a rapid and exciting transformation.
