The Avenues Group are an established early learning company who have been caring for children in the local community since 2003. We view each child as a unique individual and foster them to develop awareness and positive interactions towards others.At our Sunnybank Hills Service we are inspired with a Reggio Emilia approach, Our service prides it self creativity and encouraging children to be more involved in the natural environments exploring and learning through play. At Sunnybank Hills Avenues we always aim to have fun, and ensure a good work life balance There is a bus stop conveniently located within walking distance of the Service. We offer our children weekly art lessons in our onsite Atelier that is facilitated by an art teacher, a EcoMarine back yard inspired and supported by Tangalooma EcoMarine programs, daily Chinese lessons, and consistent rosters with long term staff that have passion and knowledge about the sector

**The role**

This is a great long-term opportunity for an **Early Childhood Educator** to join our team

**Duties**:
Supporting the Lead Educator/Teacher at planning, preparation and delivery on the room program that is guided by the EYLF document.
Using your creative vision to assist our community of families, children and employees.
Some light cleaning is required in this role

**Position Requires**
- Must have minimum Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care actively working towards.
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- The ability to work any shift between operations hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- Enjoy co-collaborating, developing and maintaining open relationships with parents and co Educators.
- Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.

**How to apply**

**Salary**: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
