We are currently looking for a material handling industry expert to join our dynamic Integrated Systems Group as a Consultant. The role will involve working closely with our Design Estimating and Sales teams to develop designs for integrated warehousing and distribution centre solutions that are leading edge, cost effective and competitive in their offering.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities- Working with customers to understand their key requirements- Analysing customer data and developing models to determine the preferred option(s) for the customer evaluation- Contributing to the development of suitable conceptual designs in-line with customer requirements and Dematic's capabilities- Providing design and technical support to the Sales Team as required- Preparation of proposals and tender submissions in conjunction with the sales team- Client presentations to concisely communicate the link between insights from analysis and the integrated solution- Evaluating proprietary tools available for analysis and modelling- Managing consultancy projects to budget, on time and satisfying the customer's objectives- Reviewing functional specifications for system software during the sales cycle- Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures- Ensuring smooth and complete handover of contracts and orders to the project manager

- Tertiary qualification in an engineering related discipline- Extensive experience within and knowledge of warehouse/distribution centre operations and the Material Handling Industry as a whole- Warehouse/distribution centre system design experience-
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel & Access)- Excellent time management skills- Strong Communication skills- Analytical thinking and strong numerical skills
