If you're a Software Test Engineer, QA Specialist, or Test Analyst looking for a greater challenge, this role offers far more than routine testing. Working at the intersection of software, hardware, and advanced robotics, you'll test software for systems that control real-world, cutting-edge equipment and intelligent machines. We have a terrific Software Test Engineer opportunity within the Global Product and Solutions team. Based in Belrose you will collaborate with an amazing team of engineers, testing high quality, professional software designed for significant warehouse automation projects . You will deliver industry leading software to warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturing sites across APAC by developing and executing comprehensive test plans.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Writing and executing test plans
- Coordinating Factory and Site Testing Specifications and reports for assigned projects
- Participate in code reviews
- Plan and coordinate all testing activities
- Provide leadership to other less experienced team members
- Provide assistance to the IT Engineering group for customer support as required
- Provide product expertise to support the sales process as required
- Follow the Dematic development quality processes and procedures
- Actively contribute to the improvement of software testing processes
- Take an active role in the development team processes to improve product testability
- Contribute to a development environment that fosters technical excellence and teamwork
SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
- 3 – 4 years Software Test Engineering experience
- A Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- A solid understanding of .NET, C# and SQLServer
- Experience developing Test Automation and using of scripting languages e.g. Ruby, Python
- Experience testing software solutions in the mechatronics/robotics/automation domains.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A sound knowledge of MS Office applications
- An understanding of OHS requirements
- Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites throughout the Asia Pacific region during site commissioning stages (up to 2 months at time)
