HEI Schools Australia is currently seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators for our toddler room in Emerald, Victoria. These roles are immediate positions (FT, PT, Casual) with a strong induction program about our Finnish Teaching Program.

HEI Schools Emerald is nestled in a beautiful community in the Dandenong Ranges and offers 4 unique learning spaces that cater for 60 children per day.

HEI Schools Emerald is part of the world-renowned HEI Schools, and it blends the Australia Early Years Learning Framework with the world leading Finnish Curriculum, which has key learning focuses such as wholistic sustainability, social justice, connection to the natural environment, creating a culture of trust, and much more. When becoming a team member at HEI Schools Emerald you will have access to exclusive training from the HEI Schools pedagogical leaders out of the University of Helsinki, as well as weekly calls to assist all educators in their pedagogical practice.

HEI Schools Emerald offers a unique and extraordinary concept to its children, families, and educators. Not only do we have a beautifully Finnish inspired centre, but we also have our “Concept to Creation” project that runs out of our private 7-acre property just 15 minutes up the road in the rolling hills of Cockatoo. The “Concept to Creation” project is the brainchild of our managing director and aims to imbed the knowledge in the children that _they can change the world. _Consisting of well researched programs that are developed and presented to the educators to deliver to the children, professional onsite sport teachers to take classes, private buses, and our own professional drivers to make the excursions easy and stress free to organise.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Having Diploma of or certificate III in early childhood education and care or equivalent
- Having working experience within the early childhood sector
- Holding core values of building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with children, families and colleagues
- Having a mindset of respect and appreciation of a strong team culture of working together
- Having an open mind and belief to embrace new early childhood education concept for better future of children
- Having Approved First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certification
- Having current work with children check
- Full COVID-19 vaccinated

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Participate in the implementation of curriculum and education programs
- Provide support and feedback to the room leaders
- Make sure the children room is clean and safe for children and educators
- Utilize education Apps to provide feedback to parents regarding the learning of their children in our centre
- May be required to one of the responsible persons
