**The Role**
As the Training Coordinator at the Pakenham site of Patties Food Group, you will coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective learning and development programs for the site, and most importantly the manufacturing teams across our 3-shift operation. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager - Pakenham, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Develop and facilitate relevant “in-house” training sessions / programs.
- Develop and maintain the skills matrix for the production department and other functions as required.
- Utilize competency requirements identified through skills audits and captured within the skills matrix
- Conduct regular training needs analysis and assessments
- Recommend targeted on-the-job and other relevant training programs
- Lead and coordinate the online site safety induction program
- Create & ensure production, logistics & maintenance SOP’s are kept up to date and reviewed regularly
- Support, coach and develop internal line trainers

**The person**
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience as a trainer or training coordinator in a manufacturing or operational environment, ideally within the FMCG space as well as;
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment preferred
- Have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
- High level of attention to detail and ability to proactively plan
- Be able to adapt and be flexible to work with line trainers across all shifts
- Strong relationship developing focus, and be able to build and maintain strong connections
- Ability to problem solve to make informed decisions Be a true team player and contribute to team collaboration and trust
