**The Company**

Our client is responsible for the management of a key government service to millions of people domestically and commercially across Queensland including the management of the organisations extensive key infrastructure assets.

They are currently looking for a Procurement Advisor to join their team initially for a 6 month contract.

**The Role**

Your role will be focused on procurement and contract activities. Including category and supplier management, procurement planning, sourcing, tendering, contract development, negotiation and award and procurement reporting.
- Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake research, spend, and market analysis to secure value for money opportunities.
- Negotiate directly with key internal and external stakeholders during the procurement process to achieve the best value for money outcomes.
- Actively contribute to the development of enhanced procurement processes for the purpose.
- Support SAP procurement system with workflows as required.

**The Person**
- We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with proficient end to end procurement skills.
- Experienced in pre-contract sourcing activities and contract formation.
- Working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent) financial system.
- Desire to make a difference in a large organisation who supply a large population with essential services to their lives.
