Brighton Primary School (BPS) and Centre of Deaf Education (CDE) is an innovative and vibrant school situated in the beachside suburb of Brighton, South Australia. The school has been educating D/HH for over 50 years. The CDE is well known for educating D/HH children in an inclusive mainstream setting where Deaf culture and Auslan is celebrated. BPS is focused on high expectations, innovation, wellbeing and community partnerships.
We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf to join our innovative and high performing team.

Our CDE model is inclusive, and D/HH students are educated in mainstream classes in a Bilingual/Bimodal approach. Teachers of Deaf work in partnership with classroom teachers to provide an inclusive learning environment for all students. Teachers of the Deaf collaborate with year levels teams to design and implement a low variance curriculum.
