**Shingle Inn The Pines is looking for a passionate and experienced Café Supervisor to lead our dedicated team.**

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth workflow, outstanding customer service, and consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverages. We’re seeking someone with strong leadership skills to guide and support our team of baristas, cashiers, and kitchen staff, while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Operational Management**:

- Manage daily café operations to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
- Uphold excellence in coffee quality, food presentation, and customer experience.
- Supervise opening and closing routines, including cash management and daily reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and liaise with suppliers for timely ordering.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and workplace health and safety regulations.

**Team Leadership & Training**:

- Inspire, guide, and support a team of baristas, cashiers, and floor staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Deliver hands-on training and continuous development to enhance team capabilities and performance.
- Cultivate a collaborative and positive team culture that promotes excellence and mutual support.
- Oversee staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency.

**Customer Service & Experience**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting environment for every guest.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
- Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by implementing strategies that enhance the overall guest experience.

**Who are you?**
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a café or hospitality setting.
- Proficient in barista techniques with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash reconciliation, and inventory control.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 28 - 38 per week
