Hse Advisor

Benang is an emerging Infrastructure services provider focused on sustainable solutions within the Utilities, Construction & Mining & Resources Sectors. Benang meaning “tomorrow” in Noongar is our prime driver, a company that is community & sustainability focused for the kids of tomorrow.

Due to a newly rewarded contract, Benang currently have an opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join the team. The position will be working on a 3/1 roster starting mid-end November. The project will run for 3 months.

Your duties will include;
- Participate in daily prestart meetings
- Updating SWMS, JHA’s and CRAWs
- Develop, create and maintain management plans specific to our clients scope of works
- Implement structured risk management process to Identify, assess and manage HSE risks
- Monthly HSES reporting
- Perform a root cause ICAM investigation when applicable
- Implement an audit and inspection program to meet statutory compliance

Whilst a background in construction or mining would be desirable, it is not necessary. We are looking for a friendly team member with a strong work ethic and the drive and desire to help us grow and succeed.

Key requirements:

- ICAM Investigation training (essential)
- WHS Cert 4 or Diploma (essential)
- Civil Construction or Mining experience ideal but not essential
- Construction (White) Card
