As we expand our security offering, we are looking for an **ICT Security Specialist** who is passionate about defending businesses from modern cyber threats and enhancing client cybersecurity maturity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits across cloud and on-prem environments
- Assist in developing and implementing security strategies, frameworks (e.g. Essential Eight, SMB1001), policies, and controls
- Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents, coordinate remediation and reporting
- Provide advice and support to internal teams and clients on cybersecurity best practices
- Monitor threat intelligence sources and proactively recommend improvements
- Conduct phishing simulations and awareness training for end users
- Assist in preparing compliance documentation and reports for clients
- Support pre-sales activities by advising on security solutions and packages

**Skills & Experience**

We’re looking for someone with a balance of technical capability, clear communication, and problem-solving instincts.

**Required**:

- 3+ years in a cybersecurity, IT security, or SOC role
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace security management
- Solid understanding of security frameworks such as Essential Eight, NIST, or ISO 27001
- Familiarity with security incident response processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical clients
- Australian work rights

**Preferred**:

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, Google/Microsoft security certs)
- Experience working with MSPs or in client-facing roles
- Understanding of regulatory environments (e.g. ACSC, OAIC, PCI DSS)
