**The opportunity**:
Visy Board specialise in manufacturing innovative corrugated cardboard packaging solutions, using highly automated production machinery. We are seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Fitter to join our Visy Board, Coolaroo team. This is a full-time permanent position, working on our day shift (6am start), with opportunities for overtime. Reporting to the _Engineering Manager_, you will be part of a high performing maintenance where you will be responsible for completing mechanical activities to repair and refurbish all plant machinery and equipment. Some of your additional responsibilities will include
- Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
- Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems.
- Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility.

**What you will bring to the team**:
As our new maintenance fitter, you will hold either Mechanical Trade Certificate (highly desirable) or a relevant qualification. In addition, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ Machine Maintenance experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic oxy acetylene gas experience as a minimum together with mig/tig/stick welding skills.
- Exceptional ability for fault finding and diagnostics and keenly focused on process and continuous improvement.
- Good communication and reporting skills with a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
- Forklift licence is essential and Corrugator machine experience is highly desirable.
