Clinical Research Development Advisor

Want to be part of a strategic team to deliver high quality & safe research practices? You’ll be part of the team will help to deliver and oversee implementation and oversight of research strategies to meet the National Safety & Health Quality Clinical Trials Accreditation Standards. You’ll have an opportunity to assist in the design and implementation of strategic projects at Austin Health. You’ll have a bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate degree in Science, preferably with experience in research compliance and/or safety and quality.
Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

Selection Criteria Essential: Tertiary qualifications (which may include a Postgraduate degree by research) in relevant discipline (science and/or quality and safety) and/or relevant experience in supporting research.
Essential: Experience in project coordination methods and tools.
Essential: Experience in preparing and managing research projects, such a pre-approval, and post-approval requirements (such as safety, annual and final reports).
Essential: Experience in the review of research agreements.
Essential: Experience in writing clear, concise procedures and guidelines.
Essential: Track record in customer service including excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven time management skills.
Essential: Proven ability to work in a team where knowledge and experience is shared across areas of expertise.
