**Position Overview**: We are seeking a **Disability Group Facilitator** to lead and facilitate a variety of groups, including craft, social, and specific interest groups. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping participants connect with each other and develop a sense of community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate group activities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
- Plan and implement engaging sessions that promote social connections.
- Encourage participation and interaction among group members.
- Cultivate a positive and creative environment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance group offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in group facilitation is preferred.
- Creative flair with the ability to engage participants in diverse activities.
- Experience as a support worker or within the disability community is advantageous.
- Background in mental health is a plus.

Join Daffodil Recovery Support in making a difference

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.47 - $57.87 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- disability support work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Disability Worker Screening (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
