**About the role**:

We're on the lookout for incredible individuals to support an amazing young lady in Dalby who's ready to take on life with your help

Our Client is a creative genius - her artistic talents are off the charts Whether she is crafting masterpieces, jamming to music, gaming, or diving into the world of Pokémon, her enthusiasm for life is contagious. She’s looking for Support Workers who share these passions and can help her reconnect with her community and work life.

As we know, life throws its challenges, but that’s where you come in. We need someone who:

- Is empathetic, understanding, and patient.
- Truly believes in the power of choice and control.
- Knows how to build capacity by _doing with_ rather than _doing for._
- Has a valid driver’s license, their own vehicle, and full comprehensive insurance.

You will be supporting this lovely young lady through her day-to-day activities, providing emotional support as she navigates her world, and giving her the confidence to thrive.

You will need to be available for shifts from 8am to 5pm over four days a week. If you are ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients’ needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must**_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.45 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
