**About the role**
We are currently seeking a Grain Handler for an immediate start at our site in Dalby West, QLD (working at other nearby sites as required) in a permanent capacity.

The core activities of a grain handler include:

- Sampling/receiving grain at site (spearing using automatic or manual spears and then testing for protein, moisture and contaminants against specifications, entering data into our system)
- Monitoring the flow of grain from truck unloading and onto hopper, auger or other equipment
- Protecting and storing grain in bunkers or permanent silo storage (includes building, breaking-down and tarping bunkers)
- Sweeping, shovelling, blowing down dust and other general housekeeping activities including site presentation
- Operating equipment including augers, tractors, hoppers, loaders.

**About your experience**
- Good communication skills plus a positive attitude
- Safety-conscious behaviour
- A forklift, front
- end loader ticket or an HR Truck licence will be advantageous
- Reliability and a willingness to learn
- Computer literacy
