- DUTY STATEMENT:_
- **Planning and Review** Consult with industry professionals for assessment and training design when appropriate. Review the planning, delivery and assessment of each program and report as required by the management. Contribute to internal reviews, audits and validations when requested.
- **Delivery** Plan, prepare and deliver courses / training according to the training package or accredited course. Ensure all students are provided up to date training plans. Deliver engaging and effective training via variety of delivery modes e.g. classroom, distance, online or traineeship (on-the-job). Identify and establish the learning needs of a student and customise training and assessment accordingly. Ensure students understand and comply with their training plan, and progression policy. Facilitate work placement opportunities for students. Monitor and manage student progression ensuring course completion in required timeframe. Document and support students with Language literacy and numeracy (LLN) needs as well as provide ongoing out of class student support as required
- **Assessment**Plan, conduct and review assessment of student competence.Participate in assessment validations/moderationsContribute to the design of training and assessment materials.Distribute and explain assessment plans and processes.Educate students about Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and conduct RPL assessment.Inform students about appeals process and status
- **Documentation ** Observe and complete all record management requirementsEnsure use of the current version of all training and assessment materials.Complete evidence of participation for all students commencing a new unit of competency.Complete work placement documentation before, during and after placementTrack and report student attendance and manage absenteeism issues identified in an appropriate way in line with RTO policies and procedures. - **Professional Development**Manage and maintain your own professional development to ensure VET and vocational currency validationMaintain current Trainer and Assessor matrix. This should include Vocational competence; Evidence of Current Industry Skills. VET Skills profileAttend staff development meetings as required
- **General**Adhere to company’s policies and procedures and values & behavioursOther duties as required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 32 per week

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
