The Team Leader SECASA is responsible for leading and managing clinical operations in the SECASA team based at the MDC Dandenong. As a member of the Monash Health community leadership team, this position will support opperationalising SECASA's strategic direction within the area program.
This role requires both innovative thinking and exceptional people management skills as the service works towards expansion and the delivery of a gold standard therapeutic response for those impacted by sexual assault and or family violence.
SECASA offers its clinicians a high standard of training and support recognising the need for compassionate, evidence-based, client centred care.
Being part of a busy MDC the Team Leader will have a strong emphasis on collaborative partnership building, supporting and developing resilience within the team and have outstanding communication resulting in positive client outcomes.

**The Southern Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA), a program of Monash Health, has the responsibility in the Southern Region of the Department of Human Services for**:
The provision and development of effective services to victim/survivors and associated people affected by sexual assault and family violence
The provision and development of effective services for adolescents exhibiting sexually abusive behaviours
**Job Summary**
Reporting to Manager, SECASA Sexual Assault and Family Violence Support Services, this position is responsible leading and managing clinical operations of the SECASA area team. As a member of the Monash Health Community leadership team, this position will support operationalising SECASA’s strategic direction within the Area program. The team leader will have a strong emphasis on collaborative partnership leadership, building and supporting a resilient team, and outstanding communication resulting in positive client outcomes.
**Purpose**
To provide leadership of the daily operations of SECASA Dandenong team (also including the Pakenham/Berwick and Cranbourne team), ensuring quality and timely service provision to people who have experienced sexual assault and/or family violence.
To work in partnership with Clinical Leads in the identification of learning goals, training requirements and supervision of Counsellor Advocates
To provide high quality clinical supervision, education sessions, joint counselling, and ongoing support and skill development to Grade 1 and 2 SECASA Counsellor Advocates, in consultation with Clinical Lead.
To participate on the SECASA Intake and After-Hours Roster, including the SECASA On call Leadership roster.
