**About the role**:
Seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our Travelling Workforce program with immediate effect for placements between 6 weeks to 12 months in our Calvary Aged Care Facility in Noosa
As passionate and experienced Hospitality Assistant, you will work as a member of our large hospitality team. We are also happy to discuss alternative contract lengths that are best suited to you.
**Catering**: You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of catering, and presentation whilst handling, preparing and storing food, in addition to associated cleaning tasks.
So you can pack your suitcase and go, Calvary will organise and provide flights, accommodation and a Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) for the added expense of meals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist with the catering service to meet resident’s food requirements. This will include food preparation, food storage, food hygiene, distribution and serving meals.
Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
Assist with the preparation of the Dining rooms.
Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines.
Maintain a high standard of cleaning to resident’s rooms and all general areas.
Adhere to infection control, manual handling, WHS procedures.
Maintain efficient and open communication.
**What you bring**:
Experience in basic food preparation preferred but not essential
Experience in micro-fibre cleaning preferred but not essential
Excellent customer service approach, friendly and bubbly personality
Effective time management skills and experience in a fast paced environment
Basic understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia including those who display challenging behaviours and also basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care standards will be high regarded
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
