**About the client:
Established in 2020 this client success is seeing them open more practices. Currently in Kotara and Tuggerah and soon opening in Corrimal. Offering general services using the latest technology and practices.

This practice is skilled with cosmetic dentistry an orthodontics. Their current mission is to build a team of professional with skills but also great personality. If you are generous, authentic and love dentistry, you will fit in nicely.

**About the role:
You’ll work with patients of all ages in a rewarding field where treatment to someone’s face can make a huge difference to their quality of life.

We are looking for a diligent assistant to support dentists before, during, and after each dental procedure. Your responsibilities will include taking X-rays, preparing equipment, and tending to patients. You will also be required to monitor inventory levels and replenish our dental supplies, as needed. To be successful as a dental assistant, you should be highly organised and attentive to patients’ needs. As an outstanding assistant should have an excellent understanding of general procedures and exceptional hand-eye coordination

**Duties may include**:

- Operating X-ray and 3D scanning equipment and developing radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
- Preparing and sterilising surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
- Assisting the surgeon with all chairside procedures including operational setup, administration, and clean-up.
- Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring vital signs during procedures.
- Providing patients with information on oral health care, treatment plans, and postoperative outcomes.
- Monitoring our stock of surgical supplies and medication and replenishing these, as needed.
- Ensuring that instruments and equipment are effectively maintained.
- Always Providing excellent patient care.

**Qualifications skills and experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Organised and an efficient manager of your time
- Meticulous and great attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Skilled at multitasking
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or minimum 1 year experience
