Overview:
We are currently looking for a PIAWE Specialist to support our eligibility function by undertaking complex Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) calculations to determine the correct rate of weekly compensation and providing advice to the Eligibility Team, customers, and broader business on matters related to PIAWE.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaising with claims staff, employers and workers as required to obtain the information required to undertake timely and accurate PIAWE calculations
- Calculating, and at times re-calculating PIAWE across a wide range of different claims and clients
- Providing coaching and mentoring to claims staff relating to the best and correct way to approach PIAWE Calculations
- Communicating with clients relating to PIAWE
- Being a go-to point of specialist expertise for legislation and technical claims matters in relation to PIAWE

Qualifications:

- High level of workers compensation claims experience or previous experience in a similar role
- Experience and knowledge relating to PIAWE calculations
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Fantastic coaching and mentoring skills
