**Your new role**

You are accountable for the coordination of all fleet/equipment maintenance within the branch and responsible for the daily supervision of the vehicles and employees involved in the workshop.
- Ensure superior customer service to both internal and external customers
- Control expenditure on maintenance and running costs
- Manage the workshop and equipment functions through internal resources and outsourced subcontractors
- Work with the national Fleet & Equipment manager on the development of medium to long term fleet plans
- Ensure all OHS&E, compliance, and legislative requirements are met

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience in supervising equipment workshops advantageous
- Strong track record in safety leadership and performance
- Proven experience within the waste or transport industry preferred
- Background in heavy vehicle maintenance
- Good interpersonal skills
- Influencing skills / managing expectations
- Mechanical qualifications
