The Orange Door Home Agency Manager is a key leadership position providing operational supervision and support to Western Health staff working in the Orange Door networks of Western Melbourne and Brimbank Melton.
The safety of victims of family violence is a paramount concern for The Orange Door which aims to improve victim safety by holding perpetrators of family violence to account for their actions. The Orange Door works to keep perpetrators accountable by supporting them to take personal responsibility and to choose to end their violent behaviours and attitudes. It also has an important role in understanding and monitoring perpetrator risk to inform safety planning for victims and families.
**To be Successful in this Role you will be**:
- Hold relevant qualifications in social work, welfare, psychology or a related discipline in accordance with Recommendation 209
- An experienced senior manager or leader who has supported workforce in complex service delivery environments and been able to develop, manage and motivate high performing teams
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the drivers/causes of family violence and child and family vulnerability, as well as the child and family services and/or broader social services sector
- Passionate about service reform, integrated service delivery and improving outcomes for women, children and families
- A team player, with strong experience managing stakeholder relationships and working in partnership
