**Your opportunity**

This role will support the Logan Family Recovery program, a 12-week residential treatment program for parents who wish to bring their children with them. As a Support Worker, you will assist clients throughout their recovery journey, provide guidance to parents in developing their parenting skills, and promote evidence-based practice in a client-led and supportive environment. You’ll help to keep our clients emotionally safe while supporting and monitoring activities of the program. You’ll assist with medications, support guided meditations, and provide general help and support to clients during the day. This is a role that has a big impact. You’ll witness the hard work our clients put in to change their lives for the better, helping them to learn new skills, to adapt and to set goals and achieve them.

The salary range for this position is from $43.08 to $46.36 per hour plus casual loading, and applicable penalties.

As this is a casual role, we can’t always guarantee the number of shifts you might get, so you’ll need to be comfortable being called in as needed.

**In terms of the role itself, as this is a clinical role you will need**:
A minimum of Certificate IV in Community Services, AOD, Mental Health or a related discipline.

**In addition, you will bring the following**:

- You’ll need to know how to set and maintain good boundaries - with clients, colleagues, and yourself. What we do isn’t always easy, so taking care of yourself is most important
- You’ll be comfortable working to a structure but have the capacity to be flexible and navigate the unexpected.
- You’ll be able to think on your feet, problem solve and handle pressure.
- You’ll have a genuine desire to support people in making a positive difference to their lives.You’ll be reliable, resilient, persistent, and non-judgmental.
