Temp Admin Support Officer

**Accountabilities include**:
- Provide administrative support services including data base administration, word processing, office logistics support (purchasing of office supplies, bookings, and minor equipment), correspondence tracking, file management and electronic mail.
- Proactively manage diary requirements of the Project Director to enable efficient use of time. Schedule, organise and attend meetings, seminars and conferences and co-ordinate all necessary administrative support for such meetings. Take notes and prepare minutes for distribution if required.
- Communicate with various levels of management, the general public, industry, senior executives from public and private organisations and divisional staff on a wide range of issues.
- Carefully analyse enquiries or requests from internal and external stakeholders, and research, determine and take appropriate action on behalf of the Project Director.
- Monitor, maintain, update and progress correspondence and related filing systems to ensure deadlines are met and results are consistent with government and departmental standards.
- Manage travel related requirements including accommodation bookings, car hire, air travel and taxi vouchers.
- Provide accurate and effective support to the section of routine administrative processes for Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and other business requirements as required with a focus on completion of activities within required timeframes.
- Provide Local Systems Administrator (LSA) support and any necessary training for the timesheet management system.
- Provide records management support and guidance to section staff as required.
- Provide WHS support by ensuring Toolbox Talks, safety interactions and WHS inductions are delivered for the section.
- Participate in capability development activities required to perform efficiently and effectively in the role, and assist other team members to develop new capabilities when required.
- Participation in and contribution to the Administration Support Network.
- Promote positive culture across the business and be an example by living the Queensland Government Values.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed. This role reports to the Project Advisor for the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade project.
