Our client located in Northern Suburbs are currently seeking experienced Gantry Crane and machine operator to assist with processing steel products.

Our client located in Northern Suburbs are currently seeking experienced Gantry Crane and machine operator to assist with processing steel products. This client is in high demand at the present with several state and national contracts currently being undertaken.

Excellent hourly rates on offer

As a valued member of the production team, you will be primarily responsible for machine operation including ongoing quality checks, machine start up, adjusting rollers, changing programs & mechanical parts on the machine. Ongoing training will be provided to ensure you are proficient in various functions of the workshop.

You will have strong technical capability with attention to detail & a heavy industrial manufacturing background. Experience with steel products is highly advantageous.

To be considered for these roles, it is essential you possess the following.
- Technical understanding of machine operating
- Overhead crane experience and licence
- Forklift licence
- Good attention to detail and initiative
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to participate in a medical, with a Drug & Alcohol test
