Step into a leadership role as a Principal Analyst within Queensland Treasury's Budget Strategy and Financial Reporting (BSFR) team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee whole-of-government banking arrangements and lead contract management in a dynamic, diverse and strategic environment.
**In this role, you will**:
- Work closely with banking suppliers and agencies to monitor, recommend improvements and manage performance under the banking contracts.
- Evaluate banking supplier performance under their contracts and undertake formal contract reviews.
- Monitor and advise on the management of key risks at a contract level for large, complex contracts.
- Shape the vision and direction of the team engaged on contract management.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of banking arrangements under the contracts.
- Produce data analysis and reporting for performance management, reporting and compliance oversight.
**What experience you will bring**:
- Commercial, legal or contract management experience, ideally with high-value strategic supply contracts.
- Experience in change management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed, effective and timely decisions.
- Capability in data analysis and reporting.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
