**About the Position**:
NutriBlooms is offering a Casual Employment position for an accredited dietitian to join our team. We provide all the backend support.
The location of work is in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively, ensuring that you can care about your clients without compromising your personal well-being.
**Skills Requirements**:
Preferred: 2 years of previous experience in a private practice environment.
Willingness to learn.
A sincere passion for working in a community setting, particularly in supporting the nutritional needs of people with special needs.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective connections with both clients and team members.
A demonstrated clinical expertise, along with a solid foundation in evidence-based nutritional principles.
The confidence to collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
A strong desire to work in a private practice setting, combined with self-motivation and a readiness to seek new opportunities for expanding our existing networks.
**Qualifications Requirements**:
Hold a current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) registration.
Public indemnity and liability insurance
Working with children check
Current VIC driver's license
Covid 19 vaccination
**Location**:
Forest Hill 3131, Victoria and Eastern Suburbs.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Ability to work at least one day per week, with potential to increase days
Perform InBody scans to patients, training to be offered
Offer dietetic consultations, and provide bespoke intervention plan
Reporting to supervisor dietitian
Communication and reporting to GPs and other service coordinators, health professionals
Conduct personalized evaluations and offer evidence-based nutritional guidance to clients in a private practice community setting.
Deliver one-on-one nutritional consultations either in a clinical, telehealth, or home-based capacity.
Common areas of practice involve individual assessments and evaluations, practical dietary interventions, the provision of tailored and structured services, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Establish connections with family, caregivers, support individuals, and other healthcare professionals.
Foster a compassionate and supportive atmosphere for clients, ensuring their motivation and empowerment throughout their health journey.
