We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced **Dietitian (Grade 2)** with at least two years' experience to join our Nutrition and Dietetics team in a casual role. The purpose of this role is to provide leave cover and fill gaps, along with our two full-time leave cover positions and other casuals.

The person in this role could be allocated to work in any of our clinical areas, in any setting (inpatients, outpatients, home-based programs) and at any campus (Austin, Repat, Talbot) with training and support provided as needed. Our six clinical streams are: specialist medicine, surgery/gastro/ICU, oncology, paediatrics and mental health, aged care and rehabilitation, and ambulatory care, each with a senior team leader.

Roster and work hours will be variable, based on department needs. Rostering will usually be done a few weeks ahead for planned leave, but shifts will also come up at short notice when there is unplanned leave. Weekend work may be an option.

**About the Nutrition and Dietetics Department**

***We have around 40 dietitians working across all three sites of Austin Health, in acute care, sub-acute care, rehabilitation and community programs. We function as one department and work in clinical teams in a supportive, friendly environment. Our work includes clinical services, research, quality improvement, food service liaison, staff and student education.
