**About the Role**:
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) are currently seeking a qualified Technician to be based in the workshop of our branch in Larapinta. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance services (including planned maintenance, repairs and modifications) on our fleet of material handling equipment.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic) - essential.
- Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate advantageous but not essential.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven strong mechanical aptitude; diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
- Sound problem solving and decision making skills.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
