**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced fulfilment professional to join us and take accountability of our Crestmead facility as
**Weekend Warehouse Manager.** You will have the responsiblity of ensuring the performance of the Fulfilment Operation is managed to the daily KPI expectations and overall business KPIs. You will also be responsible for compliance with all WHS policies and providing a safe place for all employees to work. You will create an environment of continuous improvement whilst maintaining an engaged workforce. This role will maintain the operational budget, along with input and execution of key strategic projects.

The standard work week for the Weekend Warehouse Manager will operate on the below roster:
**Monday and Tuesday - 9am to 5pm**

**Saturday and Sunday - 6am to 6pm**

**What you'll be doing**
- Own the weekend fulfilment operation, across both Inbound and Outbound functions.
- Meet Inbound and Outbound KPIs. Propose, implement and review KPIs based on warehouse operations, costs, quality, service, safety and people.
- Maintain an engaged and motivated team.
- Ensure all staff are trained to complete the allocated roles.
- Ensure staff are crossed trained in functions to provide coverage across the fulfilment centre.
- In consultation with QA Team, develop and maintain skills matrix and performance management system for all team members.
- Ensure all staff are inducted and compliant with all WHS and company policies as well as any legislative requirements. Identify possible risks & continually promote safety amongst employees.
- Develop staff through coaching and training to create a strong operational team with an eye to succession planning.
- Work with the Brisbane Management Team to produce rosters that align with the budget and the customer output required.
- Identify, create, replace, refine and clearly document all standard operating procedures including weekend specific procedures.
- Contribute to operational and strategic plans; implementing productivity and quality standards and identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Execute the site strategic plans as communicated by the Senior Management team.
- Minimise stock damage sustained in the warehouse.
- Involvement in the recruitment of new team members.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in identifying, despatching and assuring quality and cleanliness of goods.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance including delivery of One-on-Ones and regular “tool box” talks.
- Maintain the fulfilment centre with the highest level of commitment to good housekeeping.
- Provide additional management coverage for Annual Leave when required.
- Initiate and own a number of warehouse special projects.
- Oversee the weekend Logistics as per business requirements.
- Work as directed by the Operations Manager.

**Your Ideal Experience**
- Demonstrated experience driving accountability & results across a complex, highly dynamic Fulfilment Centre.
- Experience building, communicating and operationalising key SOPs, workflows and processes.
- Excellent people leadership skills and committed team player.
- Entrepreneurial and a self-starter - thinking outside the box to propose improved ways of working and driving decisions.
- Humble, practical and a can-do attitude - not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the groundwork associated with leading a high performance team.
- Logical, numerate and leads with insight - you quickly get your head around metrics to understand issues, opportunities and provide insights.
- Naturally energetic and enthusiastic - you inspire and motivate those around you.

**Role Location**

This position will be based on-site at our fulfilment centre (FC) in Crestmead QLD 4132.
