Beverage Stock Room Attendant

We are seeking a full-time store person to receive, handle and dispatch beverage and cellar products coming into, or going out of, stockrooms to immediate venues and maintain computerised stock data.

Successful applicant must have wine and beverage knowledge, be organised and able to maintain accurate records including out of stock items, stock location systems, stock changes and stock assignment.

Opportunity to work closely within a beverage team and manage a store within guiding principles and standards.

**General activities**

Take delivery of goods and supplies

Unload goods and scan or check them against order forms

Manage computerised inventory system including data entry

Keep computer records and paperwork up to date

Inspect incoming goods for damage

Move goods onto storage shelves or racks

Stack bulky items in designated areas

Fill outgoing orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists

Package and send out or deliver completed orders to immediate venues

Move heavy packages or boxes

**Skills required**

General knowledge of wine and beverage products

A good level of physical fitness

To enjoy practical work

Able to work quickly and methodically

Good organisational skills

Good teamwork skills

Basic computer skills

A safety-conscious attitude to your work

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- data entry: 3 years (required)
- wine and beverage: 2 years (required)
