Everyday we provide our clients with essential geotechnical insights that allow them to understand very early how ground movement will impact their valuable assets. We have built an excellent and diverse team to approach InSAR increasingly as a professional service.

**Your Role & Impact**

We are looking for a communicative Geoscience consultant, who will find new ways to implement and integrate our data in geotechnical engineering practices for mining customers.

Do you want to discover new ways to make enormous impact in the mining industry? For existing clients, you will be the champion connecting our products and services to demanding technical users who need to keep mining operations safe. In addition, you will be responsible for customer retention as a key metric and you'll support our sales team in various stages of the sales funnel. Also, we like you to integrate different types of remote and on-site data and coordinate with users to drive insight and to optimize production while ensuring the geotechnical safety of their operation.
- Own the relationship with existing and incoming customers
- Support our Sales team with further expansion in the Australian market
- Consulting and consultative sales in various stages of the sales funnel
- Work closely with geoscience and engineering domain experts at mining customers and partners
- Work closely with the InSAR Engineers in our Data Analytics team - who make and deliver the data sets
- Participate in industry events
- Configure, understand and optimize our data feed for projects you own, to create insights about mining geotechnical and related topics
- Draw compelling visualizations (animations, graphs, cross-sections, maps,of data in the software system
- Rapidly learn - about new technologies, the possibilities of SAR and InSAR and related data for mapping onto stability issues and displacement modes

**What you’ll bring to the team** ‍**
- M.Sc., in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or Surveying
- At least 5 years of working experience as a technical expert in the mining industry
- Knowledge and experience with technical computing software is a plus
- Excellent presentation and visualization skills
- Ability to combine various datasets in the context of operations and engineering geology
- Hands-on experience with conventional GIS and related software as used by customers, remote sensing or surveying methods is a plus (we will teach you InSAR essentials)
- Work accurately, with detail orientation on complex problems
- Inquisitive self-starter, keen to discover novel techniques
- Communicative team player with visualization and technical writing skills
