It is home to more than 700 medical researchers, working together to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of some of the world’s biggest health challenges.

Working closely with the Board, Executive Director and Executive Team, this senior role will develop and execute strategies that enhance SAHMRI’s funding sources and ensure the organisation’s financial objectives and long-term sustainability plan are achieved. The role is pivotal in evaluating and providing recommendations on financial feasibility and risk assessments for new opportunities and projects, providing strategic advice on long-term financial planning and decision making to support research theme and organisational performance.

Leading the Finance Team, you will further develop business partnering capability and drive continuous improvement of financial and KPI reporting tools and value to key stakeholders.
