**About the role**:
The role provides clinical leadership and medical support combined with the running of medical evacuations and transport of patients who are our global corporate members or travel insurance customers travelling or living abroad or regionally.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide telephone medical consultations to patients
- Provide clinical leadership and medical support during medical evacuations, retrievals and transport of patients
- Obtain medical reports to monitor appropriateness of the medical treatment and to assess any pre-existing issues
- Assisting our remote area clinics working with numerous and varied clients
- Liaise with medical departments of various commercial airlines for passenger clearance. Complete medical information forms with accuracy and within required timeframes.

**About you**:

- Full working rights in Australia
- Unconditional AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- Proven experience working within emergency and/or primary healthcare settings
- Competent computer skills
- Able to work on a 7-day rotating roster
- Excellent written and oral English language
