Operator

**About the role**:
Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Minto site, the Operator will perform a range of operating duties within the metal recycling yard. This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression.

**Pay rate for this role is $32.88 per hour.**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating forklifts and loaders and performing manual handling tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
- Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
- Adhering to safety procedures at all times

Skills and experience:

- Forklift licence is essential
- Loader experience is desirable
- Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
- A positive mindset with a general willingness to learn
- Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
