**Casual Events Supervisor**

Are you a customer service focused events professional? We are looking for a driven and passionate Events Supervisor to join a leading NSW Government Executive Agency. You will be part of a diverse, professional and dynamic team that supports MHNSW to achieve its goals.

**What the opportunity is**:

- Employment with Museums of History NSW, NSW Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade.
- Clerk Grade 3/4 - $93,072 Package includes salary ($75,992 - $83,211 full-time equivalent), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Casual employment
- The role will work across the Sydney area.

**What we do**
MHNSW brings together the museums, historic houses and associated collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world’s most complete and important collections documenting colonisation.

**What you’ll do with us**
This role will implement event requirements and supervise commercial events, filming and photography activities across all MHNSW properties to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction for all commercial clients.

**What the essential requirements of the role are**
- Possess a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
- Experience in supervising events with a delicate and fragile heritage environment.
- Experience in client management and food and beverage operations.
- Ability to manage lifting, carrying, standing, kneeling and moving around heritage sites both internal and external environments.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work hospitality hours (after hours, weekends and nights).
- Willingness to work across and ability to travel to multiple work locations.

**What you need to tell us - Targeted questions**:

- The Venues Event Supervisor role requires competence in identifying and responding quickly to customer service requirements and developing solutions to meet those needs. Describe a situation where you were working with a difficult client that was impacting your ability to do your job, and explain how you managed that relationship and delivered a positive event outcome.
- Provide an example that demonstrates your knowledge of Responsible Service of Alcohol. Outline the steps you implemented in this situation and what was the outcome.
