**The Opportunity**
As a member of the Sydney Studio leadership team, you will play an integral role in contributing to the growth of the business by focusing on sustainable design direction, project management, and business development.
**About You**
As an Associate Director your responsibilities will include:
- Providing design input and concepts, with a high degree of personal responsibility for task management and programming
- Supporting the delivery of strategic design projects;
- Providing technical and management support to the wider design team;
- Generation of new work through new business development and enhancing current client relationships, across a range of industry sectors; and
- Maintain and promote design excellence.
This role is suited to someone with 8+ years of relevant post-graduate experience who possesses the following competencies:
- Ability to write proposals, win and manage work;
- Contributes advice that adds value to the client’s overall solution - gains the client’s trust as a strategic advisor;
- Demonstrates advanced written and verbal communication skills including producing well written and incisive reports;
- Confidence in presenting to internal and external clients;
- Portfolio that demonstrates design excellence;
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to visualise design projects and embrace sound business strategy as applied to effective projects; and
- The ability to demonstrate effectiveness and strong commitment to working in a team; setting and delivering high quality client service and technical competence.
