**About the Department for Correctional Services**

The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Our vision is for a safer community by protecting the public and reducing re-offending. **Duties**

The Manager Accommodation Treatment Units (MATU) is responsible for the leadership and management of a multi-disciplinary team which provides a strategic state-wide function to provide high quality, evidence-based assessment, treatment, and referral services for aged/infirm prisoners and those with complex needs involving mental health issues, intellectual challenges, behavioural and/or personality factors, that cannot be managed or treated in their existing accommodation.

**Special Conditions**
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.
- A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
- A flexible approach to working hours is required.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
- Will be required to participate in on-call duties.

**Requirements**:
Essential: A degree level qualification in an Allied Health profession that gives eligibility to membership/registration of the relevant professional association_._
Desirable: Appropriate qualifications in management.

AHP4 ($114,314 - $124,449 pa)
