Mermaid Waters, Australia Two Birds One Stone Full time

We are a busy Mermaid Waters based cafe looking for an experienced cafe barista/all rounder with a high level of coffee art. Cooking experience would be great as well.

This position is Part Time or Casual with up to 24-32 hours a week on rotating 7 day roster. Availability to work weekends is key. Primarily open for day trade only.

We’re looking for someone who can:

- Make hot and cold drinks (Barista).
- Perform all-rounder cafe duties.
- Prepare multiple short-orders in a timely manner using approved recipes.
- Maintain safe and hygienic food practices.
- Pre-prepare food items from approved recipes in accordance with safe food handling practices.
- Maintain consistent standards of quality and presentation.
- Work as part of a team and enjoy the hospitality environment.
- Take orders, clear tables, do dishes, wash floors and keep the café clean and inviting.
- Undertake Barista duties.
- Engage with customers in a pleasant and cheerful manner.
- Ensure café ambience is maintained by doing all things to make customers feel welcome.
- Assist other team members wherever required.
