Parks Victoria is looking for a Ranger to be part of a fantastic team to develop and manage the new Suburban Parks

**About the role**:
As a ranger you will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and the position will be accountable for personal performance. You will work in a team environment; your day-to-day tasks will range from visitor experience to hands-on environmental work. Your core duties include stakeholder management (contractors, volunteers, internal stakeholders) and works including pest plant and animal management and park asset maintenance.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Experience in customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
- Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
- Practical experience in field-based work, use of power tools/hand tools, maintenance and operation of small equipment such as chainsaws/brush cutters.
