**ABOUT THE POSITION**

We are looking for a Sales and Selection Consultant to help kick start our brand-new showroom in Fyshwick. This state-of-the-art facility will provide you with a modern and exciting space to service our clients, introducing them to various ranges, styles, and upcoming trends across our product offering of tiling, flooring, and window furnishings.

**In this role you will get to**:

- Take on the opportunity to be one of our first staff members in a new location
- Act as the first point of contact greeting walk-in customers and other visitors
- Work 1 on 1 with clients in designing and selecting their carpets, laminates, timbers and tiles for their new home bathrooms, en-suites, powder rooms, kitchens, main floors, alfresco's and more
- Upkeep front of house
- Demonstrate your great attention to detail
- Use your design flair and sales capability, it is your responsibility to up-sell and upgrade wherever possible
- Have the responsibility for the premises including opening/closing

A core part of this role is the administrative element; measuring construction plans and estimating, data entry, invoicing, quoting, and follow ups.

This is a permanent full time role and an attractive remuneration package is offered with a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000 + super + uncapped commission. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.

**ABOUT YOU**

**You will have**:

- Previous experience in sales, specifically in timber, carpet and/or laminate flooring
- Sound computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding presentation
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
