**About the role**

This role is responsible for the management, monitoring, service development and quality of the Flexible Support Service Program within North Melbourne. This role directly supervises Disability Support Workers who work within these programs.

**Must haves**
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Disability or a related discipline
- Experience and understanding of the requirements of a leading community and residential disability service
- Substantial working knowledge of roster development and implementation within a community setting
- Financial management, particularly understanding customer expenditure processes and accountabilities
- Managing workforce issues including supervision, performance management, performance improvement plans, coaching and mentoring
- Managing multiple work sites and teams, including facilitating team processes such as team meetings, training calendars and communicating with large work groups
- Managing a variety of complex disability or related customer presentations and complexities, including an awareness of outcome measures used in the disability field
- Knowledge of contemporary models of practice and/or evidenced based practice in the disability sector
- Substantial working knowledge of the relevant legislation that governs disability practice in Victoria and safe workforce management
- Have a Current First Aid (HLTAID0011) and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencing
- Be willing to provide a confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (dose 1, 2 & booster)
- Be willing to provide an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) Clearance
- Have a Current Victorian Driver's License and willingness to use own vehicle (if required) with comprehensive insurance
