Environmental Management

**The Opportunity**:
**Our well-established and growing team requires a Senior-Principal level environmental consultant to establish a new role of Environmental Management (EM) Team Leader, and lead the growth and development of our EM Team.**

The EM team works across environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental approvals and environmental compliance.

**_ The role will require the following contributions:_**
- Leading, mentoring, coaching and contributing to the career development of the EM team
- Growing the EM team via recruitment efforts
- Leading and taking ultimate responsibility for the delivery of EM projects
- Leading and co-ordinating personnel contributing to EM scopes of work
- Project management of individual EM projects
- Over-arching management of the portfolio of EM projects, including appropriate prioritisation and delegation
- Client relationship management
- Financial management of EM projects and budgets
- Tenders, proposals and quotes for EM scopes of work
- Assistance, as necessary, with the various technical and project management functions in technical teams outside the EM team
- A remuneration package commensurate with experience level, inclusive of incentive bonuses applies to this role._

**About You**:
**_To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate:_**
- relevant tertiary qualification (degree minimum) in environmental science, environmental management, conservation or equivalent
- demonstrated familiarity with frameworks of the WA EPA, DWER, DMIRS and Commonwealth DCCEEW for environmental assessments, EIA, approvals and compliance
- the ability to lead EM projects at all scales
- aptitude for managing sub-consultants
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proven capabilities stakeholder consultation
