They are seeking an effective Health and Safety Advisor to contribute to developing and maintaining a strong organisational safety and wellbeing culture.

**About The Gig**
Reporting into the Safety & Wellbeing Manager, the Health and Safety Advisor will contribute to developing and maintaining a strong organisational safety and wellbeing culture. The majority of this role includes providing technical advice and solutions to all client groups, creating safety management system documentation, training and auditing.

Further, you will take responsibility for:

- Championing a positive and robust Health and Safety culture at all levels of the organisation with a particular emphasis on supporting managers and operational leaders
- Participating in risk management activities, including facilitating risk assessments, contributing to the development of SOPs, conducting control verification and providing advisory services
- Driving safe systems of work, quality incident investigations and the delivery of visible and felt leadership through the implementation of learning, coaching and monitoring client groups
- Providing practical and collaborative solutions to Health and Safety issues
- Responding to hazard and incident reports, ensuring information is accurately recorded and resolutions activities are responded to efficiently or escalated to the appropriate stakeholder
- Performing regular reports and detailed analysis of safety and environmental information
- Creating end user documentation that is easy to understand and easy to follow

**About The You**
You are a contemporary health and safety professional with the ability to integrate the safety agenda into broader organisation objectives in a non-traditional environment. You have an engaging and people focussed approach, be someone who builds relationships and credibility through collaboration, lead consultation to truly understand the motivations and intent of the organisation.

You will also have demonstrated experience in:

- Providing practical Health and Safety advice that can be easily understood and acted upon
- Experience across risk assessments, hazard identification and management
- Experience leading incident investigations and debriefing
- Ability to create simple, practical yet effective user-focused documentation
- Experience in continuing the improvement of the safety management system and in producing data to contribute to effective reporting
